Van Mosel crosses the Channel: the first takeover in the United Kingdom is a reality

After the Benelux and Germany, now it’s the UK’s turn to learn about von Mosel. The Dutch dealer group is taking over Jacksons Group, a British dealer group with 500 employees that sells 6,000 cars a year.

Van Mosel has moved into Germany with the acquisition of German dealer group Hugo Pfohe, but is also moving north with the acquisition of Jacksons, a multi-brand dealer group operating in the Channel Islands (2 locations in Jersey and 2 in Guernsey), the Isle of Man (1 location) and the Isle of Wight ( 1 place) offers 29 different brands and over six thousand cars and motorcycles change hands every year.

With the acquisition, Von Mosel immediately adds 8 more brands to the portfolio, as 8 of the 29 brands sold by Jacksons are not yet sold by Von Mosel. New names include Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW Cars and Motorcycles, Honda Motorcycles, Lexus, MINI, Porsche and Toyota. With a turnover of €250 million, Jacksons is one of the UK’s largest dealer groups. Headquartered in Jersey, the company employs 500 people and provides sales, maintenance, repair and financing at all locations.
