This improved the old record of the Champions League football match between Barcelona Women and German Wolfsburg. Last April, 91,648 people came to Camp Nou.

The volleyball match was held at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, which is typically the home of the Nebraska football team.

Volleyball players of the Nebraska Cornhuskers from Lincoln won the match against the Omaha Mavericks from the same state in three sets.
