WatchOS 7.5 beta is available to developers and general testers with the correct beta profile. If you have already installed a previous beta version of watchOS, you will see the update appear automatically. We expect a beta version to be available for general testers soon.

Be careful: These beta versions are only for developers and general testers and are not suitable for use on the devices you need every day.

More than watchOS 7.5
Since this is already the fourth update, we expect it to contain mostly minor tweaks. Apple will also fix some bugs and issues from the previous versions, but we don’t expect any really big new features.

Here is an overview of watchOS 7.5 betas. We expect watchOS 7.5 to be released in the spring of 2021.

  • watchOS 7.5 Final: May or June 2021 (expected)

About beta testers
You often run into issues when testing betas. First of all, not all functions are usually available immediately, but they are added and expanded during the testing period. You may also encounter crashes or some apps may not function properly yet. So keep that in mind if you decide to test watchOS update. So it is not recommended to install a trial version on a device you use every day as there are still many issues with the beta version. Moreover, you cannot downgrade with watchOS.
