Plant-based drinks don’t have the same properties as animal milk. You can use them in the same way, but they don’t give you the same substances. You can’t conclude whether one variant is healthier than another.” According to a nutritionist, this does not mean that one is better. “Both products have their own characteristics.”
Many Dutch people have grown up with the idea that milk is good for us. Do we really need cow’s milk for our health? Which milk to choose?

However, the nutritionist adds: “If you choose plant-based drinks, it’s best to choose the ones with no added sugar and with the highest possible amount of nuts, seeds, legumes, or grains.” This way you can be sure that you are making the healthiest choice from the vegan dairy shelves.
