Belgium will lead Coca-Cola in Germany, Denmark and Finland

Evelyne De Leersnyder became president of the franchise Coca Cola In Germany, Denmark and Finland. The Belgian takes over the duties of Jorn Jensen, who moves to Vienna for the soda company.

Three in one

Early next month, a Belgian will ascend to a top position at Coca-Cola in Germany: Evelyn de Leersneider will be vice president of franchise operations for Germany, Denmark and Finland. As a result, she will also become Coca-Cola Germany’s Woman of the Year on April 1, the company said in a news release.

De Leersneider has been with the cola maker for fourteen years and began his career in the technical team in Belgium. He then moved into franchise operations, leading the marketing team in Denmark and Iceland and driving the business agenda in Austria.

De Leersneider was also General Manager of the Bulgarian branch for a short time before becoming Marketing Director for Northern European countries responsible for the teams in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia. Last October he became ‘CEO’, the European head of The Coca-Cola Company.

His predecessor, Bjorn Jensen, has held the position since October 2019, but will take up the position of Operations Vice President and General Manager for the Central Europe region in Vienna from April 1. Jensen started his career at Coca-Cola in his native Norway in 1991, but has since moved up the career ladder in several positions.
