US President Joe Biden warned on Saturday in a phone call with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin of “dangerous and rapid repercussions” in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the White House said.


She added that the United States and its allies would “respond decisively and cause heavy and rapid repercussions for Russia” if that country invaded Ukraine.

Biden also said the invasion would cause “great human suffering” and tarnish Russia’s prestige.
