Four people were found dead and a fifth seriously injured in a hospital in the German city of Potsdam near Berlin on Wednesday evening. According to the police, this is killing. The suspected perpetrator, a 51-year-old employee, was arrested according to a Potsdam Police and Prosecutor’s Office report. Nothing has been revealed about her possible motive. The dead and wounded were found in different hospital rooms in one of the departments.
“In the current situation, the injuries of all the victims can be attributed to severe external use of force,” a statement said. According to the daily Der Tagesspiegel, the dead were said to be sick, but there is no official confirmation of this. Investigations are still underway. “A lot of evidence is being secured,” police said.
The complex where the crime occurred includes a clinic, nursery centers, schools, work and living spaces for the disabled, and counseling centers.
