Phantom Liberty is getting new gameplay at Gamescom Opening Night Live – That’s Gaming

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has shown incredible promise in everything it’s been shown so far, and it looks like CD Projekt RED’s action-RPG will finally be able to live up to its potential with its upcoming expansion. And since the launch is now not far away, we’ll take another look at what’s in store soon.

Gamescom Opening Night Live producer and host Geoff Keighley revealed that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will receive a new gameplay trailer during the show next week, on August 22nd. It’s one of several big upcoming releases confirmed for the show so far, including others like Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Black Myth: Wukong, Crimson Desert, and Mortal Kombat 1.

Keighley previously said that opening this year’s Gamescom Night Live will focus more on providing updates about upcoming titles rather than announcing brand-new titles.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be released on September 26th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
