Ward Verrijcken started his career at Het Laatste Nieuws and later also contributed to Bonanza of Woestijnvis magazine. But he was mainly known as the movie expert at VRT.
Ward Verrijcken began his career in public broadcasting as a film reporter Red Carpet. When that program finally ended in 2011, he became a permanent film journalist on the news service. He reported on it NewsBut it was regularly heard on various public broadcasting radio stations.
