Shots were fired at Dallas Love Field Monday morning local time. This airport is located approximately 10 kilometers from downtown Dallas. Immediately, photos appeared on social media of travelers hiding behind seats at the airport. Everyone was evacuated.

Dallas Police Commissioner Eddie Garcia said the 37-year-old gunman was taken to the airport shortly before 11 a.m. She went into the toilet and changed her clothes. She came out again in a hooded jacket, pulled out a rifle and fired several shots. Police said most of them appeared to be targeting the ceiling.

Then officers in the terminal building shot the woman in the legs. She was transferred to Parkland Memorial Hospital. It is not clear how she is. Nothing has been released about her motives or the person who dropped her off at the airport.
