Fukuoka Saga has once again compared Arsenal’s Emily Smith Rowe to Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne.

After the match, Saga took to Twitter to praise his teammates.
First, he praised Captain Abameyang and then thanked Smith Rowe for helping.
For the second time in a few weeks, England star Smith Rowe has been compared to City’s De Bruyne.

Comparisons between De Bruyne and Smith Rowe may be a bit premature because he has only played in five Premier League games this season.
City’s De Bruyne has 10 assists so far this season and 100 assists in his career at the club in all competitions.
But young Smith Rowe has three assists in five Premier League games, and Gary Neville has suggested he has the talent to shine on top Arsenal teams over the years.
“You watch the Emily Smith Rowe game, I agree with Jamie, you see a lot of young players playing football – especially those in the offensive areas – they look crazy,” Neville told Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
“Choices are usually irregular and they usually don’t get it right, he does.
“He doesn’t run with the ball, he slides with the ball and travels with it.
“He’s always at a point when it appears he can release it, the real best players travel with the ball, but are always in a position to release it at the right time.
“A lot of young players run with it, and then have to look up, then they have to stop, and then the moment is gone. He’s not, he’s connected, he’s smart.”
Neville compared him to Gunners legend Robert Byers.

He added: “He’s really an Arsenal player … It’s a great compliment to Arsene Wenger on how it has affected my mind as an opposition player for so many years.
“Brilliant players like Robert Byres, they are very smart and intelligent.
“He could have played the way he did on the old Arsenal teams. I know he has only played in six games, but he’s very experienced.”
