These Android features wouldn’t look out of place on the Apple iPhone

Of course we love our iPhone very much, but there is always room for improvement. Then you can, for example, look at what the competition is actually doing. Therefore, Android has a number of functions that we hope Apple will include in the next update.

Android and iOS are two of the biggest mobile operating systems in the world, so they are definitely doing something right. However, the companies behind these systems can still learn a thing or two from each other.

5 Android features Apple should bring to the iPhone

Looking at what the competition is doing well is always a good way to improve your own product. We think Apple should apply these 5 features on Android phones to iPhone.

#1 Dashboard like Android Dashboard on iPhone

You can call up the control panels for both iPhone and Android by swiping down from the top edge of the screen, after which you can set up wi-fi or turn on a flashlight, among other things.

On the other hand, on Android phones, you can customize it more than you can on Apple phones. Extensive customization options allow users to remove features they don’t use so they don’t take up any screen space.

#2 Group notifications on your Apple device

Notifications on your Android devices work quite simply and are also nice and clear. For example, if you switched to an iPhone, it may take some getting used to. Notifications are not properly labeled, so your notifications quickly look like a big mess.

Apple could also copy Android in this case, as notifications are grouped by app there. And watch out for credit card fraud.

#3 All the apps on your iPhone have a new icon

Android allows for a lot more customization on their phones than Apple does with the iPhone. Although it is technically possible to adjust your app icons on iOS, it is quite cumbersome. On Android, you have bundles so you set all the icons in one fell swoop.

#4 No extra storage, everything goes to Apple iCloud

It’s great that you can access all your photos and videos with iCloud, even from an Apple device other than your iPhone. However, it is a shame that you cannot expand the memory of the phone itself using a microSD card. This is possible on many Android devices.

#5 Home screen like Android screen

Apple has made some improvements to this over the past few years, but home screens on Android remain superior. Of course, the use of tools is still complicated. The order in which you place widgets and apps on your iPhone’s home screen still has many limitations.
