In Jerusalem, two twin sisters gave birth to their sons on the same day.
The 31-year-old women were admitted to the hospital one by one: one of the amniotic sacs ruptured, and the other was already beginning to go into labor. The children were born on a Tuesday. Both women have their fourth offspring: they both already have two daughters and a son.
“A birth is a special and exciting event,” Yael Yishai said. “I am happy to be able to share that with a good friend. She is also my sister.”
The twin sisters shared a room in the hospital. Now they can also take maternity leave together.
According to the administration, the date repeated itself: in 1997, the twins had already given birth on the same day.
