Settlers will be available from March 17th

More than 25 years after The Settlers debuted, this strategy game is back on Windows PC. In The Settlers, players discover a whole new land and collect resources to build their communities. In addition, players recruit new residents (or engineers) and form military units to protect and defend their settlement. The Settlers will be available on March 17th for Windows PC in both the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store.

Developed by Ubisoft Düsseldorf, The Settlers returns as a reboot largely inspired by The Settlers 3 and The Settlers 4, two of the most popular games in the franchise. Players can expect a fresh experience in the new The Settlers, which has been built from the ground up using Ubisoft’s Snowdrop Engine. The Settlers sets a new visual standard in the RTS game genre. New and experienced players alike will experience colorful environments, as well as modern gameplay. Players enjoy The Settlers in one of three game modes: Single Player Campaign, Onslaught, and Skirmish (Solo vs. AI, Co-op vs. AI, or PvP with up to eight players).

In The Settlers, Elari (one of the factions participating in the game) is forced to flee their homeland and settle in a new and unknown land. Adventure awaits them when they meet other residents and their journey suddenly faces entirely different challenges. There are a total of three playable factions in the game, one of which is Elari. Each faction has its own appearance, playing style, and background.

The game comes in two different versions:

  • Settlers Standard Edition: Includes the game
  • The Settlers Deluxe Edition: Includes the game, a deluxe pack and many digital goodies
